Missing Jefferson County service dog found: 'We have Percy'

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

A Jefferson County service dog that went missing Sunday after the vehicle he was in was involved in a car accident has been found.

Percy, a young, male black lab was last seen after the accident near Old Highway 21 and Goldman, just north of Hillsboro. He ran from the car and has not been seen since. He is wearing his collar but is no longer wearing his service vest. Percy is micro-chipped.

Wednesday morning, Gateway K9 Support Dogs for Veterans and First Responders said they had found Percy.
