ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Several local schools participated in Friday’s National School Walkout for gun reform.

To mark 19 years since the Columbine High School shooting in Colorado, students from across the country walked out of class at 10 a.m.

Locally, students from Eureka High School, Ladue Middle School and Villa Duchesne High School participated in the walkout. At Eureka High School some students held signs that read “protect lives not guns” and “Books Not Bullets” as they gathered on the football field during the walkout.
