Man accused of trying to rob multiple Florissant businesses

FLORISSANT, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

A 26-year-old man is facing charges for trying to rob several businesses in Florissant.

Antonio Hamilton is charged with first-degree robbery, attempted robbery and attempted burglary.

Police say Hamilton tried to break into Gabby’s Liquor on April 12 by using a tire iron.  Hamilton then allegedly robbed Old Towne Donuts on the same night.

He is accused of also trying to rob a Pizza Hut and Subway. In all three robberies, police said he implied he had a weapon.

He is being held in the St. Louis County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
