Woman accused of stabbing man on MetroLink in downtown St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) –  A woman allegedly stabbed a man on the MetroLink late Wednesday morning in downtown St. Louis.

St. Louis Police officials told News 4 they received a call about a fight on the train and someone being injured around 11 a.m. The incident reportedly happened in the 600 block of North Sixth, which is where the Convention Center Station stop is located.

According to police, a woman in her 20s stabbed a man in his back left shoulder.

The suspect was taken into custody.

The victim, described as a man in his 20s, was taken to the hospital and listed as stable.

The investigation is ongoing.
