SHILOH, Ill. (KMOV.com) -- Officers from the Shiloh Police Department rescued ducklings that were trapped in a sewer drain Tuesday.

Shiloh Officers Bradley Blake and Jacob Kienitz rushed over to Shiloh Middle School when they found out the ducklings were trapped. They then lifted the eleven ducklings out of the sewer drain with the assistance of the O'Fallon-Shiloh Fire Department.

A Facebook post brought the trapped ducklings situation to the attention of the St. Clair County Advocate. The ducklings are now under the care of Treehouse Wildlife representative in Glen Carbon.
