WEBSTER GROVES, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Webster Groves police are looking for the man they say exposed himself near two girls Friday afternoon.

In a Facebook post, police issued a warning saying they’re investigating the report.

They say two girls were walking in the 400 block of West Lockwood Ave. at around 3:15 p.m. when they noticed a man drive past them then pull over and park.

The girls walked by the car and noticed the man inside had his pants down.

Police say the girls immediately ran off and called their parents.

They also add that the man, described to be in his 30’s and in a white newer car, possibly a Ford, never attempted to talk with the girls, get out of his car or lure them inside.

“The fact that it was a young guy and on Lockwood where it’s so visible,” said Peter Vishion, who lives in the area. “It’s just weird.”

He noticed a man in a car like the car described by police earlier in the week driving behind him and pulling in to park near his home.

“I noticed he was kind of looking at me in the rearview mirror and then put his turn signal on,” he said, “and then he drove away real quick when I put my turn signal on like I was turning behind him.”

Vishion says the area is usually busy with people walking and jogging.

“It’s really sad that there are people like that out there,” he said.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
