Kansas City Baking Co. recalls ready-to-eat meat products produced without inspection

KANSAS CITY, MO (KMOV.com) - -

A Kansas-City based baking company is issuing a recall for an undetermined amount of ready-to eat meat products produced without an inspection Friday.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) said the Kansas City Baking Company did not have a federal mark of inspection on certain meat products and allergens were not placed on finished product labels.

In a news release, the FSIS said the following allergens were not placed on the labels: wheat, eggs, soy, and milk.

The company said the recalled items were shipped to café locations in Kansas and Missouri with any expiration dates or codes.

The company is recalling the listed items below :    

  • 11-oz. foil wrapped packages of "breakfast burrito sausage."
  • 11-oz. foil wrapped packages of "breakfast burrito bacon."
  • 11-oz. foil wrapped packages of "breakfast burrito chorizo."
  • Individually wrapped packages of  "bacon quiche pie."
  • Individually wrapped packages of  "sausage quiche pie."
  • Individually wrapped packages of  "chorizo quiche pie."
  • Individually wrapped packages of  "sausage bacon quiche pie."
  • Individually wrapped packages of  "ham quiche pie."
  • Individually wrapped packages of " ham and parmesan croissant."
