UNION (KMOV.com) -

The Union Police Department is trying to identify the vandal who caused damage to lawns at the Birch Creek Estates subdivision in Union. Investigators say a pickup drove across ten properties around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Ron Stanley is one of the victims. He told News 4, "I heard a huge commotion like a revving engine and squealing tires. And then I came out here and that's when I saw him hit my lawn."

Police said the vandal spun the wheels of his pickup as he drove across some lawns, making the damage worse.

"A tremendous amount of damage to these yards and further up into the subdivision doing donuts," said Lt. Andrew Parker.

One lawn of the subdivision that borders the Birch Creek Golf Course, has been hit three times in the last week.

"He did significant damage to this guys sprinkler system. You know he has, this guy invests a lot of money into his yard. Best yard on the block, year round," said Stanley.

Police describe the pickup as a silver or gray Ford F-150 single cab truck. They're asking anyone who recognizes the pickup or hears someone bragging about doing "lawn jobs" to notify police.
