MLK Bridge reopen after police respond to 'shots fired' call

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – The Martin Luther King Bridge was closed to traffic early Wednesday morning.

Officers were called to the bridge for “shots fired” around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday. When they arrived, they found an abandoned vehicle that appeared to have been damaged.

After police responded to the area, they closed the bridge to traffic. The bridge reopened just before 7 a.m. 

No other details have been made available.
