Police identify 3 who died in apparent murder-suicide in North County

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Three people who were found dead following an apparent murder-suicide in north St. Louis County overnight have been identified.

Officers were called to the 1230 block of Hoyt Drive in Bellefontaine Neighbors, where they found the victims, according to the Major Case Squad.

Authorities confirm the identity of the victims as are Katrina Banks and her fiance Dornubari Dugbor, both 31, and Banks' son Kevin Johnson, 15.

Just before midnight, Dugbor called 9-1-1 before killing himself and said, "There are three dead bodies at Hoyt Drive and I need police to respond," according to Bellefontaine Chief of Police Jeremy Ihler. 

Cheif Ihler also noted that police found a 4-year-old female in her bedroom pretending to be asleep. She is now in the care of child services. 

According to police Johnson was a child of only the woman. The 4-year-old girl was shared by the couple who were engaged.

A neighbor told News 4 she came home around 12:30 a.m. Friday to find both sides of her street blocked off and police vehicles everywhere. She said officials had to escort her to her home.

The neighbor said a couple and two kids, described as a boy and girl, lived in the home.

No other details have been released.
