FCC announces net neutrality will end in April

(Meredith) – The FCC announced on Thursday in the Federal Register that net neutrality will end on April 23.

In December, the organization voted 3-2 to overturn Obama-era rules which prevented internet service providers from treating some content as more important than others.

With the previous rules now overturned, the government will cease its monitoring of internet services as a utility.
