SOUTH ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -

St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a suspect accused of robbing a South City business.

Police say a suspect entered the Discount Smoke Shop located at 4600 Chippewa around 2 p.m. Sunday and demanded money from the cash register.

The suspect fired one shot at the clerk after getting cash from the clerk and ran out the store.

Police released surveillance video of the incident:

Officials believe the suspect is 15 to 18-years-old.
