ARNOLD, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

An Arnold business used social media to reunite a ring with its owner and now it's back where it belongs.

A CARSTAR employee discovered the class ring in their vacuum when they were cleaning it out Monday.

“We knew it had to be one of the most recent customers because we clean it out once a week and we knew we needed to get it back to the right person,” CARSTAR owner Heath Harris said.

Harris said the owner of the ring came forward and now has her ring back after losing it several years ago. He said she was the girlfriend of a former employee and lost the ring almost as soon as she got it.

The ring has a pink stone and has the name ‘Kimberly’ engraved on one side.

The business also threw in a $25 Visa Cash Card and jewelry cleaner for the inconvenience.
