MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

A benefit account has been created to cover the funeral expenses for Malcom B. Mathis II and his 22-month-old son, Malcolm B. Mathis III, who were both killed by a relative in Maryland Heights Thursday.

The account has been established for the Mathis family at Commercial Bank.

The bank will accept checks, money order and cash donations at the following four locations:

  • 2330 Westport Plaza Dr., Maryland Heights, 63146
  • 400 W. Washington St., Florissant, 63031
  • 703 Long Road Crossing Dr. Suite 12, Chesterfield, 63005
  • 2197 S. Mason Rd., St. Louis, 63131

Checks and money orders can be mailed to any of the Commercial Bank at the Maryland Heights address. Checks will to be made payable to The Mathis Family Benefit. 

The account has been verified by the Maryland Heights Police Department.
