Police are searching for a suspect after a tow truck driver showed up to a St. Louis County Police station suffering from gunshot wounds.
The shooting took place in the 4900 block of Goodfellow in St. Louis City around 5:50 a.m. Sunday.
A 38-year-old man drove himself to a nearby police station and was then transported to a local hospital by EMS. The victim told police the suspect, who was driving a white Pontiac Grand Am SE, pulled in front of his tow truck and activated his flashers.
The suspect then got out of his car with a gun and fired several rounds at the victim's tow truck before getting back in his vehicle and driving off.
The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and is listed in stable condition.
