ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -
An Israeli company that expanded into St. Louis in 2017 said it is expanding again.
Atomation, which moved from Tel Aviv, is looking for more workers.
“There are not enough hours in the day to everything we need to do so we really need good competent, hardworking, roll up your sleeves-type people to take the journey with us,” said Rich Wolkowitz, who is in charge of Global Operations at Atomation.
The company’s first major client is Ameren. Atomation attaches a small device to utility poles, which connect them to the internet, making it easier for crews to find poles damaged during severe weather.
Atomation founder Guy Weitzman said he chose St. Louis because of BioSTL, which acts as a go-between to connect business with decision-makers in St. Louis.
