ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Southwest Airlines will now offer non-stop service between St. Louis and Hartford, Connecticut.

“This is great news for our region because Hartford was one of our top priorities for new service,” said STL Airport Director Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge. “This gives us greater access to and from New England. The demand is there between our regions with a number of business connections like insurance, higher education, research and science fields.”

Starting Aug. 7, flights will depart St. Louis Lambert International Airport daily at 4:25 p.m. for a 7:50 p.m. arrival at Bradley International Airport. The inbound flight will arrive in St. Louis at 12:45 p.m.

In addition, starting in August, Southwest Airlines will add an additional non-stop flight to Philadelphia.
