KMOV.COM – A McDonald’s employee has been fired after verbally attacking an Illinois State Trooper in the drive-through lane, according to a report.

Tammy Weiland made a post on Facebook describing the incident in which her uniformed sister was verbally attacked at a McDonald’s in Normal, Illinois.

“When she went to pay, the girl said to her " I just have to say this to u. F**k the police!" Tracy is much nicer than I am, I would have had plenty of words back, but she just drove to the next window to pick up the food. At this window, the guy was laughing and said wow that's a female trooper she said that to. All the workers inside were laughing. Tracy threw the food away and called corporate. My response is this. F**k McDonald's! You will never get my business again.”

Weiland’s Facebook post got a lot of attention, garnering more than 1,500 shares and a response from the franchise owner of the local McDonald’s.

According to Herald&Review, franchise owner Jack Millan, said once he was aware of the incident he took immediate action.

“We were absolutely appalled,” Millan said. “Our discussion wasn’t about what to do, but rather about verifying who, and terminating that person immediately.”

According to the Herald&Review, the franchise owners contacted the officer and state police to apologize on behalf of the company.
