FLORISSANT, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Northview High School in Florissant kicked off a bullying prevention program that brought man’s best friend into the school Thursday afternoon.

Marshall ‘the Miracle Dog’ is part of a bullying prevention program specifically for students with special needs.

He inspired a movie about a dog who helps a 12-year-old boy cope with being bullied at school.

Marshall was bullied by other dogs when he lived in an abandoned property with 60 dogs owned by an animal hoarder.
