Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville (SIUE) students have geared up to help local students from grades fifth through eighth to assist those in need with math homework.

SIUE, in partnership with the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers Foundation, has developed and launched a Homework Hotline to support local students and parents by providing after-hours math assistance.

The SIUE Homework Hotline is free of charge and staffed by SIUE students who study mathematics.

The hotline is open Sunday through Thursday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tutors can be reached at 618-650-3072.

The Homework Hotline also expanded its services to offer face-to-face tutoring at the SIUE East St. Louis Center. The SIUE student tutors will be able to assist K-12 students in-person at the ESLC Monday through Thursday after school.

If you need additional information, please contact Liza Cummings at lcummin@siue.edu or 618-650-3459.
