MACOUPIN COUNTY, ILL. (KMOV.com) -

Police have released new information about the disappearance of a Macoupin County woman.

Authorities are now saying Denita Hedden visited a St. Louis area casino with a friend on January 25, the day she disappeared.

Hedden later returned to Royal Lakes, Illinois, where she was last seen around 11:00 p.m.

She is described as 5’0”, weighing 110 pounds and was last seen wearing a maroon Nike hoodie sweatshirt, blue jeans and brown boots. Police believe she was also wearing hoop earrings.

Wednesday, police also released new photos of Hedden that were taken the day she disappeared.

Several searches for Hedden have been conducted in Macoupin County.
