ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

A second suspect has been found guilty in connection with the shooting a St. Louis police officer in the Central West End that happened in July 2015.

Edward Davis, 30, was convicted on charges of first-degree assault, armed criminal action and shooting at or from a motor vehicle.

Police say Davis, Dale Wolford, 26, and two others were involved in the shooting of a St. Louis police sergeant who was working a department-approved second job.

The officer was in his uniform in his personal car when shots rang out near the intersection of North Euclid and Maryland. He survived the shooting.

Davis drove the car the suspects were in.

Wolford was convicted in January.

Sentencing is scheduled for late February.
