Police discovered a box containing 340 pounds of marijuana Monday night outside a vacant house in East St. Louis.
Metropolitan Enforcement Group of Southern Illinois Commander Joe Beliveau confirmed the drugs were found on 10th St. around 8 p.m.
The street value is estimated to be more than $1 million.
