ALTON, Ill. (KMOV.com) -- An autopsy was performed on Adria Hatten Wednesday, a day after the Alton woman was found dead.

Hattan, 39, was found dead on Tuesday and had been missing since January 19.

Sheriff Mike Dixon said Wednesday's autopsy revealed signs of environmental exposure, with no signs of trauma. Dixon said there was no overt evidence of violence or foul play.  Routine toxicology tests will be performed, with the final ruling of cause of death pending those results.

While police continue to investigate the woman's death, they said there have been no signs of foul play.

Hatten's body was found inside Horseshoe Lake State Park near a body of water Tuesday.
