MOBILE, AL (WALA) -

A woman in West Mobile is eager to catch the suspects responsible for stealing a package off her porch earlier this week. It happened in the Augusta neighborhood off Dawes Road, and two were caught in the act on camera.

The homeowner, Luann White actually watched the crime take place on her cell phone. According to White her home surveillance system sent an alert, showing it all take place in real time. White is hoping someone recognizes the thieves.

White told FOX10, "Uneasy, I feel very uneasy." White and her husband in disbelief after a simple alert from her home surveillance system showed a shocking scene.

Two suspects wer literally in the act taking her package on Tuesday while no one was home. White said, "We saw the UPS man drop the package off, and we got an alert, and it goes off again and it's the lady at the front door taking it."

White watched the suspect running up to the door, stealing her package and darting back into the passenger side of the car, before the two took off.

She said, "I can't imagine someone thinking that they have the right to take something from somebody for it to be something of no value to them." White believes the suspects were following the UPS driver.

White said, "I think that maybe they were waiting to see if someone was going to pick up the package off the door step, I do believe they were kind of watching."

With the help from her home surveillance system White hopes someone can identify the suspects of even the vehicle. "I mean you can tell that the vehicle is orange and there is no hubcaps on the right hand side its very distinctive," said White.

Since the crime, White is now having to find a new way to get her packages delivered.

"I am not going to have anything shipped to my home address," she said. We reached out to the Mobile Police Department for an update, but no word so far.

If you have any videos or photos of criminals caught in the act, we want to see them. Send your videos or photos to fox10reportit@fox10tv.com.
