Union man killed in motorcycle crash that closed Manchester Road in Pacific

PACIFIC (KMOV.com) -

A Union man was pronounced dead after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle near the intersection of Manchester Road in Pacific Saturday morning.

The crash happened around 11:30 a.m. on Manchester Road near Ridgefield Drive and closed the roadway for a couple hours.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the driver of the motorcycle was traveling westbound on Manchester Road when it crossed into the eastbound lanes and struck a passenger car head-on.

The motorcyclist, identified as 27-year-old Kyle Seiss, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver of of the car, 21-year-old Jackson Hanify of Wildwood, was not injured.

The roadway was closed for a period of time while emergency crews were on the scene.
