ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

A man accused in the shooting of a police officer in the Central West End in 2015 has found guilty on several counts.

Dale Wolford, 26, was convicted on one count of first-degree assault, two counts of armed criminal action and one count of unlawful use of a weapon for shooting into a car.

Authorities allege Wolford and three others were involved in the shooting of an SLMPD sergeant in July 2015 in the Central West End.

Police said the sergeant was working department-approved secondary in full uniform in his personal car when the shooting happened near the intersection of North Euclid and Maryland.

The officer survived.
