NORTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOV.com) -

A car caught on fire after it hit a school bus on Lindbergh near Old Halls Ferry Thursday evening.

Authorities say a bus with children inside was rear-ended by the car, which both caught on fire.

Police said the bus was dropping off children and its stop sign out and arm extended when it was hit by the car.

Only four kids were on the bus at the time. Nobody was injured.

Both directions of Lindbergh are closed.
