ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Two people were hit by cars that slid on ice on a north St. Louis street Wednesday morning.

A woman was driving in the 8200 block of Hall Street when her vehicle slid on ice and struck a utility pole. While she was standing outside her vehicle, a Ford F-150 slid on ice, hitting her and an additional unoccupied vehicle. She reportedly suffered minor injuries.

While police were at the earlier crash scene, an additional accident occurred and both drivers pulled to the side of the road. While one of the drivers was standing outside his vehicle assessing the damage, a Chevrolet Impala slid on ice and struck him. He was taken to the hospital to be treated for a broken leg.

All vehicles and people involved in the crashes stayed at the scene.
