ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Family members of a missing St. Louis-based musician said he took his own life.

Nathan Jatcko, 31, was last seen at approximately 1:30 a.m. Friday at his apartment on Lawn Avenue, according to Jatcko’s father, John.

After the musician missed a rehearsal and a performance at the Monocle in the Grove on Friday night, the family filed a missing person's report.

Wednesday night, the Facebook page created to help find Jatcko changed its name to "Remembering Nathan Jatcko" and said the musician had taken his own life.

Thursday morning, St. Louis Police officials told News 4 Jatcko was found dead in North Bend, Oregon.
