Police: man arrested for stolen car, tried to kick his way out of cop car

CASEYVILLE, Ill. (KMOV.com) -

A 21-year-old Collinsville man is facing several charges after he was arrested for driving a stolen car Saturday.

Caseyville Police said Jaleen Gladney, a convicted felon, had a large amount of ammunition and also tried to kick his way out of the patrol car when he was arrested. The cop car was damaged.

Gladney is charged with Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Possession of Ammunition by a Felon and Criminal Damage to State Supported Property.

Gladney's bond is set at $50,000.
