A 10-year-old boy suffered a graze wound to his right arm Sunday after a shot was fired in South St. Louis City.
The shooting happened on Sidney St. in the Fox Park neighborhood.
After being shot, the boy ran to his home on California Ave. about a block away for help.
Police said the boy was conscious and breathing.
Residents like Angela Bruckner are concerned about the violence in their neighborhood. She said something needs to be done about the gun violence soon.
"A 10 year old got shot. Oh my god! If it was one of my kids, I'd be ready to whoop the person for real. I'd fight them," Bruckner said.
No further information was immediately available.
