(Meredith) -- Justin Timberlake surprised his fans Tuesday with the announcement of a new album titled, "Man of the Woods." It's set to debut on February 2.
He posted a video sneak peek of the album to YouTube.
In the video, he says, "This album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family, but more so than any other album I’ve written, where I’m from... It’s personal."
Timberlake is from a small town near Memphis Tennessee, and he told The Hollywood Reporter in February, "It's Memphis. It's Southern American music. But I want to make it sound modern."
The upcoming release of the album comes just two days before he's scheduled to perform at the half-time show of Super Bowl LII.
The 36-year-old pop star's most recent song, "Can't Stop the Feeling", was released in May of 2016. You may remember it from the soundtrack of DreamWorks' "Trolls" Movie.
