ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Metro riders will now be able to get health screenings at some transit centers.

The Wellston, North Hanley, Rock Road and North County Centers will offer mobile health screenings one day a week. The mobile unit will have two nurses who will be seeing patients. It will also allow for general health screenings, including basic blood tests and blood pressure. All of the services will be provided at no charge.

The program is a partnership between Bi-State Development and the St. Louis County Department of Public Health. The program is being called a demonstration project and will last for the next 18 months.
