MOLINE ACRES, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Three people are hospitalized and police are searching for the suspects responsible for a triple shooting in Moline Acres Wednesday night.

Just after 8 p.m., officers responded to the 9800 block of Monarch Drive after reports of a shooting.

When they arrived, they found an adult man who was shot multiple times. He was taken to the hospital for treatment, and a second and third victim of the same shooting arrived shortly after.

According to police, the three victims, all men, were sitting in a car in a parking lot on Monarch Dr. when several occupants in a dark passenger car drove up and fired on them.

Two are 24-years-old and one is 20. Police said they are expected to survive.

The shooting is under investigation by the St. Louis County Bureau of Crimes Against Persons.
