POTOSI, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A man serving a life sentence without parole for first-degree murder died Friday night.

William Wright, 72, was confined to the Potosi Correctional Center on Oct. 19, 1999 after being convicted of murder and armed criminal action.

On Nov. 24 around 9:30 p.m., Wright was pronounced dead at the Washington County Hospital. He died of apparent natural causes, according to the Missouri Department of Corrections.
