SOUTH ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -

Authorities are investigating a triple shooting that left one man dead in south St. Louis Friday afternoon.

The triple shooting happened in the 3600 block of Iowa Ave. at 4:05 p.m.

Police said David Dunn, 31, was shot multiple times in the torso, and that he later died at an area hospital.

Another male victim was shot in the hand, but he was conscious and breathing when he was taken to a hospital. A female victim was shot in the eye, and she was conscious and breathing when she was taken to a hospital.

Video obtained by News 4 showed a group of people out of two cars, on Iowa Ave. near Winnebago St., and walk across the street.

Seconds later, you see a scuffle and someone duck to get out of the way.

"This has got to stop at one time or another," said Leann Williams.

Williams has had enough with the shootings. Like the shots she heard fired, around Friday afternoon, she heard others a couple of days prior.

"The rapid and automatic going off. I don't know where. I did not hear sirens," added Williams. "It's sad. I feel sorry for their parents, family members and everybody involved."

Chinette Stewart, the mother of a 1, 4, and 7 year old, rushed to talk to police.

"I'm thinking about my kids because they were out at the time. I just want to know if they are safe," said Stewart.

Stewart's children weren't the only kids playing outside. She, like most moms and dads, has a message.

"People should have some consideration for children. You're thinking about doing this stuff., at least think about the kids and try to not harm the kids," added Stewart.

If you have any information concerning these shootings, contact police.
