ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

The Blues have announced plans to honor a young fan who lost her battle with cancer.

Arianna Dougan passed away earlier in November from neuroblastoma.

The team says Ari’s family will drop the ceremonial first puck before the Blues game against the Los Angeles Kings on December 1.

That night, the Blues will raise money for Hockey Fights Cancer.

Last season, the 11-year-old joined the Blues on road trip in which she bonded with Vladimir Tarasenko.

Tarasenko will take the ceremonial faceoff on Dec. 1.
