A dog was rescued from a house that caught on fire in north St. Louis Sunday afternoon.
The fire broke out at a home near the intersection of 14th and Warren in Old North St. Louis around noon.
A firefighter rescued the dog belonging to the family that lives in the home.
The firefighter was bitten several times, but is doing fine, authorities said.
The family of eight was displaced, but are all accounted for.
