SOUTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOV.com) -

A second suspect is facing charges in connection with a South County home invasion.

Richard Lovelace, 32,  is facing charges in connection with a home invasion that happened in South County on September 22.

He is charged with first-degree robbery, kidnapping, burglary and armed criminal action.

Police say Lovelace, Philip Martin, 21, and two others broke into a home in the 4400 block of Ringer Road before they tied up the two residents with duct tape and stole items from the home. The victims were allegedly held at gunpoint.

One of the victims was also pistol-whipped, authorities said.

Martin was previously charged in the case.
