ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Wednesday night meant a special honor for News 4’s Ray Preston.

He was among the graduates from the St. Louis Police Citizen Academy.

The 12-week course teaches people a better awareness of police workings and the criminal justice system.

Many say it gave them a better understanding of how law enforcement works.
