CRESTWOOD, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

There was a major show of support for officers in Crestwood on Tuesday night.

A crowd showed up to the Board of Aldermen meeting with signs.

The Crestwood Police Union has been negotiating with officers over raises and salaries. The union says Crestwood is losing officers because of low salaries, which are lower compared with other departments in St. Louis County.

The city of Crestwood has offered police a 12 percent raise, but seven percent was already scheduled before Prop P was approved by St. Louis County voters.
