RICHMOND HEIGHTS (KMOV.com) -

Police said a driver was shot in a road rage shooting that occurred near I-64 and I-170 in Richmond Heights on Tuesday afternoon.

Around 1:00 p.m., police said the driver of a white van and the driver of another car got into an argument as they waited on a red light on northbound Hanley at the North Outer Road.

The driver of the car then cut off the van as they both turned onto the North Outer Road going west, police said.  The driver of the car then stopped on North Outer Road between Hanley and I-170, got out of the car and fired shots at the van, authorities said.

Police said the driver of the van was wounded and taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities are still searching for the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call Richmond Heights police at 314-655-3610.
