West County church offering 'active shooter' training

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- Citing community concerns following the recent shooting at a church in Sutherland, Texas, a West County church is offering active shooter training.

Manchester United Methodist Church is hosting the training on Monday, November 27 at 7:00 p.m. The training will be held by a lieutenant with the St. Louis County Police Department. Lt. Brad Kelling is a certified active shooter instructor.

The training is open to all congregations, as well as members of the community who are interested.
