Warby Parker opening first St. Louis store

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- Online eyeglass retailer - turned national chain - Warby Parker announced Tuesday they are opening their first St. Louis location.

The new store, at 304 North Euclid in the Central West End, opens November 11, 2017.

Warby Parker was started as an online retailer and has since opened over 60 retail locations across the U.S. and Canada.

“St. Louis is exemplary of the entrepreneurial and innovative spirit that’s at the core of Warby Parker,” said co-founder and co-CEO Dave Gilboa, in the media release. “We're thrilled to be planting permanent roots in a city with so much energy and history.”

As part of their grand opening, Warby Parker is releasing their Topper sunglasses in Crystal with Milky Gold lenses. The limited-edition frames are only available at the new Central West End location.
