MADISON COUNTY, Ill. (KMOV.com) – Madison County Sheriff’s Department is looking for the owner of multiple WWII medals that are now in the possession of police.

On Saturday, Madison County Sheriff’s Department took possession of multiple items they suspect were stolen.

The items include World War II medals, jewelry, a New York Yankees Stein, Cardinal memorabilia, a stamp collection, collectible coins, and more.

One of the items appears to have the initials T.P. written on it.
