FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A former soccer coach and school board president is accused of sexual misconduct involving a female student.

Larry J. Zeitzmann, 56, was charged in Franklin County with sexual misconduct and third-degree assault for the alleged molestation a 14-year-old.

Zeitzmann told the teenager he loved her very much and would leave his wife and marry her, according to the probable cause statement. He also allegedly hugged, kissed and grabbed the girl’s buttocks. The incidents took place at numerous places throughout Franklin County, including Crosspoint Christian School grounds and the Union City Park at a school event.

The teenager told police the inappropriate behavior began midway through the 2016 school year and lasted until recently.

Prosecutors believe Zeitzmann's behavior with the child is not an isolated incident and there may be other victims. Anyone with any information on other incidents is urged to come forward to their local police department or the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.
