CLINTON COUNTY, Il. (KMOV.com) -- In an amusing twist of fate, a Metro East man was charged with impersonating a police officer while sitting in jail.
A woman said Christopher Reddin, 22, pulled her over on October 21 and claimed to be an undercover officer.
The woman refused to get out of her car without seeing a badge -- so he let her go.
Reddin was booked last week on other charges, including aggravated battery. While he was in jail the new charge was added.
