ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

A 16-year-old St. Charles Co. girl was recently killed in an accident, the Fort Zumwalt District said.

Emily Oechsner was a junior at Fort Zumwalt East High School, a junior varsity cheerleader and soccer player.

The district says it has crisis counselors full-time but extra counselors have been added for students at East High.

The Fort Zumwalt community is coming together using the hashtag #Pray4Emily.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help Oechsner's family and nearly $7,000 has been raised so far.
