SOUTH ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -

A shelter in place order was given for part of the SLU campus after shots were fired in the parking lot of Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital Thursday night.

Police said two unknown victims were walking in the parking lot when four unknown suspects got out of their car and fired shots at them. Police said nobody was hurt, but six vehicles were damaged. The victims reportedly fled on foot and the suspects drove away in their vehicle.

An alert telling people to shelter in place was sent out just after 7:00 p.m. Around 7:20 p.m., the shelter in place order was lifted by SLU.
